Charterd Physiotherapist Katy Holmes leads our Pilates classes. Pilates is a great form of exercise as it can suit so many different levels. What Katy loves about Pilates is its ability to both slow the body down and work on flexibility while also providing a great strength based workout!
Our Pilates classes look at working the entire body and not just focused on the core. Katy aims to keep her classes varied to target a whole body workout while keeping it fun! You control the pace and get to learn more about how your body moves. This is an ideal way to get back into exercise after giving birth as we can include pelvic floor movements to the core exercises and builds a solid foundation for returning to greater intensity training.
